as the top Italian university with fewer than 10,000 students. Reconstruction after natural disasters is a key competence of the School of Architecture and Design, developed through research projects funded by national institutions and local authorities affected by earthquakes in 2016 and 2017.

CTU is one of the largest universities in the Czech Republic with 8 faculties, and is one of the oldest institutes of technology in Central Europe. CTU is one of the largest research institutions in the world. More than 700 scientific and research projects are in progress in many engineering fields.
